Our Locations
We’ve found the best way to spread our mission is to extend our reach. We have multiple locations that we utilize throughout the year. Our goal is to reach as many children in need as possible, and with two locations and mobile options, we are able to serve more of our community as well as surrounding communities as a whole, ensuring that no child goes without a nourishing meal and the support they need.

Our primary building is located in downtown Union City, where many children can access it easily, as it is within walking distance from the elementary school and close to many neighborhoods in need of assistance. This location is utilized all year round for the children, but primarily during the winter months when our other mobile locations are closed. There are many comfortable areas to sit, relax, read books, play board games/cards, create art, play sports, and spend time with others. Many younger volunteers choose to work at this location as they enjoy participating in and leading fun activities or games for children. This location is always open regardless of weather or season, even if other locations may be closed.

Our Main Street location is seasonal (April-September) and may be closed in poor weather conditions. We prepare food to distribute to any children visiting this location. During nice weather, tables, chairs, and outside games are organized so the children can play and enjoy themselves. These sites are a valuable addition to our mission, providing service during the warmer months when children are out of school. Many volunteers enjoy working at this location to lead outdoor activities or even science projects!
Trudy's Kids Cafe extends its reach through multiple locations and works tirelessly to ensure that children facing food insecurity have access to nourishing meals and a supportive community throughout the year. Our permanent downtown location, along with our seasonal Main Street and Maple Drive locations, allows us to be a consistent presence in the lives of the children we serve. We are 100% committed to making a lasting, positive change in the lives of those who need it most, regardless of the season or weather conditions.
